from him from

After lunch, we discussed how to make and submit a God-honoring film to the next San
Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival and the value of attending the Christian
Filmmaker's Academy. Doug Phillips, the President of Vision Forum, and experienced
filmmakers Geoffrey Botkin and Isaac Botkin, called in and spoke with the attendees by
speakerphone for an extended period, answering questions and sharing valuable insights
about filmmaking, common mistakes that keep films out of the SAICFF, and the Christian
filmmaker's responsibility today.

result, we not only
received wonderful

change our culture for
Christ.

which covered the
mechanics of story.

All in all, we were thankful for the time of instruction and fellowship, and have received
